How often should I have my windows cleaned?
Most of our regular residential customers have their windows cleaned every six weeks. This provides a good balance between keeping windows, frames and sills consistently clean while keeping the service cost-effective. We operate organised six-weekly rounds throughout Exeter and the surrounding areas, with customers receiving advance notification before we're due to visit. Some properties may benefit from a different frequency depending on their location, surrounding trees, traffic, exposure and individual requirements. We're happy to advise on the most suitable schedule when providing your quotation.
Do you clean the window frames and sills?
Yes. Window frames and sills are cleaned as part of our regular window cleaning service at no additional cost. Our pure-water system allows us to wash the glass, frames and sills together, helping to keep the whole window looking clean rather than just the glass. On the first clean, or where frames are particularly dirty, additional cleaning may sometimes be required. We will discuss this with you beforehand if we believe anything beyond our normal service is needed.
Do I need to be home when you clean my windows?
No, you don't normally need to be at home. We send an advance notification before your scheduled clean, giving you time to unlock any gates or arrange access if required. As long as we can safely access the windows being cleaned, we can complete the work while you're out. Payment can also be made electronically, so there's no need to wait at home or have cash ready.
Do you clean windows when it's raining?
Yes. Light rain doesn't normally affect the quality of our pure-water window cleaning, so we can continue working in most wet weather. Because we clean using purified water, the windows are already thoroughly rinsed and are designed to dry naturally without leaving mineral deposits or streaks. We may postpone a clean during heavy rain, strong winds or other conditions that make working unsafe or are likely to affect the quality of the result. If this happens, we'll arrange to return as soon as practical.
How much does window cleaning cost in Exeter?

How does pure-water window cleaning work, and why are my windows left wet?
Our water is professionally purified to remove the minerals and impurities found in ordinary tap water. Using water-fed poles, we thoroughly wash the glass, frames and sills before rinsing the window with pure water. Unlike traditional window cleaning, the remaining water doesn't need to be wiped or squeegeed away. The windows are intentionally left wet and the purified water dries naturally without leaving the mineral deposits that can cause spots and streaks. This system also allows us to safely clean many upper-floor and difficult-to-reach windows from ground level, while cleaning the frames and sills at the same time.
Can you clean high or difficult-to-reach windows?
Yes. Our professional water-fed pole systems allow us to safely clean many high and difficult-to-reach windows from ground level, including upper-storey windows, windows above conservatories and other awkward areas. For particularly challenging windows, we will assess the access and working conditions first to determine whether they can be cleaned safely and effectively. Where specialist access is required, we'll discuss the available options with you before carrying out the work.
Do you clean inside windows?
Yes. Internal-only window cleaning starts from £35 per visit for a typical smaller property with straightforward access. Standard internal windows are cleaned using traditional professional methods. The final price depends on the number and size of windows, access and the work required. Exterior window cleaning is quoted separately. For high or difficult-to-reach internal windows, skylights and other awkward areas, we also have a specialist indoor pure-water cleaning system, allowing us to safely reach glass that may be difficult to clean using traditional methods. High-level and specialist interior cleaning is individually assessed and quoted depending on the height, access and complexity of the work.
