Before cleaning begins, we assess the type and condition of the render, the level of organic growth and any areas that may require additional care. The appropriate cleaning method can then be selected for the surface rather than treating every property in the same way.

Why we don't pressure wash render?
Render can be more delicate than it appears. High-pressure washing can risk damaging the surface, particularly on older, painted or weathered finishes, and may leave an uneven appearance. Instead, we use controlled low-pressure soft washing, allowing the cleaning solution to do the work rather than relying on excessive water pressure. This enables us to target organic staining such as algae, fungi and lichen while taking a gentler approach to the underlying surface. Where appropriate, we follow the initial clean with a specialist biocide treatment to tackle remaining organic growth and help slow its return.
Preventative Treatment & Maintenance
Cleaning heavily stained render is only part of the solution. Once the surface has been cleaned, we can apply a specialist biocide treatment designed to target remaining organic growth and help inhibit its return.
Rather than waiting for black, green or red staining to become heavily established again, a preventative treatment can be reapplied periodically while the render is still in good condition.
